Footnotes
OGUGUA chased along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun two to three wide into upper stretch, seized command from a leg weary leader straightened away, dug in under threat to the outside to the eighth pole, rebuffed that challenge and edged away to the finish kept to task. MITOFURY brushed the off side stall at the start, chased three wide coming under a ride at the five-sixteenths pole, swung four wide into upper stretch, ran on latched on to the eighth pole, got shaken off late while safe for the place honors. TARTAH broke out at the start brushing EASTPOINTE, chased along the inside coming under urging near the quarter pole, angled four to five wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. SHAKE MY HAND broke out at the start bumping SPHINX, chased three wide under encouragement from three furlongs out, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. LOAN RANGER chased three to four paths off the rail until tucked inside just inside the half mile pole, got ridden along at the three-eighths marker, cut the corner into upper stretch, kept on to the finish and was outfinished in the final jumps. MONACO CROWN coaxed from the gate, chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then two to three wide through the turn, angled six wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals. PRIVATE BANKER chased three then two wide under a ride from three furlongs out, angled four to five wide into upper stretch and made no headway. EASTPOINTE got brushed at the break by TARTAH, chased two to three wide under urging from the three-eighths marker, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch, offered no response. SPHINX got bumped at the start by SHAKE MY HAND, chased four then three wide under encouragement from three furlongs out, tipped five wide into upper stretch and tired. PAREA reluctant to load prior to the start, spurted away in the two path opening up a commanding lead through swift splits, had the field take closer order though the latter portion of the turn and took the inside route into upper stretch under threat to the outside, yielded the front straightened away, folded along the rail and was eased home in the final sixteenth.
