Footnotes
KID'S KHANCLUSION hit the inside of the gate solidly at the start and was off slow, spotted the front several lengths, settled off the inside at the rear, moved to the three path while getting closer late on the far turn, rallied strongly in the five path coming to the quarter-pole, swept to the front into upper stretch, drifted in while going clear outside the furlong marker then was put to a left-handed crop, was given one final pop of the crop outside the sixteenth-pole and proved much the best under a strong hand-ride to the finish. BRILLIANT FURY broke out at the start, prompted the pace on the outside in the three then two path, was asked near the quarter-pole then came under a drive in upper stretch and proved no match for the winner while just able to get the place. KOTLIKOFF broke out at the start, settled off the early pace, rounded the first turn in the two path, raced towards the rear, moved closer in the two path on the far turn, drafted behind horses while passed by the winner late on that bend then shifted to the three path, came out to the six path into upper stretch and just missed the place while narrowly able to get the show. TANGO TANGO was taken under a tight hold early, prompted inside on the first turn, dropped back in crowded quarters late on that bend, was rated just off the pace, saved ground on the far turn, was given his cue at the quarter-pole and lacked the needed kick then just missed the trifecta. BIG FROSTY broke out at the start, stalked the pace on the outside in the four then three path, was asked on the far turn, chased in the four path into the stretch and weakened. SHENANIGANS BUCK went to the front, showed the way through slow fractions while two path to the inside, was asked near the quarter-pole then lost advantage to the winner into upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and tired.
