Footnotes
MO BEACH TIME saved ground on the lead around the first turn, opened up his advantage down the backstretch while racing keenly, continued to save ground on the lead on the far turn, responded when driven in upper stretch and held sway to the finish. FLEET BROTATO chased behind the tracking pair, shifted three wide on the far turn and joined outside the tracking pair around the bend, continued to run on four deep into the lane, ran on with interest outside of PRINCE BEN and ATHLETIC LIKE, outfinished that pair but was never able to reel in the leader. PRINCE BEN shied during the opening strides when IGNITING EMBERS came out toward him, settled at the rear, took closer order in the three path on the far turn, dropped to the inside into upper stretch, bid inside of IGNITING EMBERS in upper stretch, battled for place inside but was outfinished. ATHLETIC LIKE was bumped and forced out by IGNITING EMBERS into the first turn, tracked the pacesetter outside of that foe through the first turn and down the back straight, was ridden between horses on the far turn, chased on three deep in the lane, continued on with interest between horses but was ultimately outfinished for the place. IGNITING EMBERS broke outward, was hard to settle, continued keenly into the first turn and carried ATHLETIC LIKE out, raced inside of that foe in the tracking flight, was urged in the two path on the far turn while still racing at the inside of the tracking flight, was driven in upper stretch and came up empty between horses.
