Footnotes
EIGHTYSIXCHEVY led from the outset, took some pressure from AWESOME FANTASY early before that one settled back near the nine sixteenths, was reengaged by that foe from the outside near the seven sixteenths but continued comfortably on the pace while saving ground, responded when asked in upper stretch and held sway. AWESOME FANTASY pressed in the early stages outside of EIGHTYSIXCHEVY, settled back and let that foe set the pace alone from near the nine sixteenths, raced three wide into the turn, rebid on EIGHTYSIXCHEVY in the three path past the seven sixteenths, was driven into the lane, proved no match when that foe was asked and chased on second best. AWESOME MOVE tracked well behind the leaders early, raced between horses into the turn, continued to chase two wide around the far turn, was driven into the lane, proved no match for the leading pair, but took mildly closer order late. LAWS OF MAN started slowly, bobbled in the opening strides and soon trailed, closed up ground up the inside gradually down the backstretch run, tracked inside of AWESOME MOVE around the bend while saving ground, went to a drive past the five sixteenths but nonetheless began to lose ground, floated out near the center of the course into upper stretch, and weakened.
