SHANKAPOTAMUS bumped with an outer foe at the start, trailed inside, improved going into the far turn, rallied to take command midway around the far turn, drew clear in upper stretch, and had enough to hold off an outer rival late. KY DO DECLARE chased in the two path, followed the winner along the inside around the far turn, took aim at the one in the three path at the top of the lane, and surged late but just missed. ELSTON GUNNN tracked in the two path, angled out to the four path midway around the far turn, then got carried out to the six path passing the quarter, angled back into the four path entering the lane, and kept on for show. KING OF THE TRAIL vied for the lead inside, drifted out to the five path passing the quarter, then yielded. WISHMASTER bumped with an inner foe at the start, dueled for the lead in the two path but gave way between foes passing the quarter.
