Footnotes
JACKIE PAPER raced in the three path around the first turn, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, challenged from the two path coming around the second bend and kicked clear in the lane. FLEET BROTATO raced in the two path early, trailed the field up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the three path, launched a bid nearing the quarter pole and improved position from there. ENGLISH ICON raced off the pace in the two path through the opening half mile, navigated the far turn still in the two path and made up some ground in the lane while never truly threatening. NOAH'S GOLD raced in the two path around the first turn, led the way on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the second turn and faded in the stretch. MIDNIGHT APPROVAL saved ground around the first bend, chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn and tired in the lane.
