COPPERJACKET chased the leader on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the three path, came in slightly entering the stretch and edged clear from there. STAUF dueled on the inside through the opening quarter, saved ground around the turn, raced in tight quarters passing the quarter pole and could not go with the winner in the lane but chased that rival on to the wire. LIL ANTHONY dueled on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path, raced into traffic and was forced to check entering the stretch, switched to the outside and weakened. ROAD RULES raced off the pace up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the two path and made no bid. THE RIDER OF HORSE TWO, LIL ANTHONY, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE FIVE, COPPERJACKET, CITING INTERFERENCE IN UPPER STRETCH. UPON REVIEW, NO CHANGES WERE MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
