KALATUA chased the leaders up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path, launched a strong bid passing the quarter pole, drifted in and bumped with SHANCES R entering the stretch and kicked clear from there. PILOT'S CREED stalked the leader on the outside early, swung out to the four path coming around the turn, began a bid entering the stretch and improved position. SHANCES R dueled between horses up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path, drifted in slightly coming into the lane, was then bumped by KALATUA when that rival drifted over, causing him to also bump with JIMMY'S PRIDE in the process and weakened from there. BUY ME ANOTHER dueled on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and gave way in the lane. JIMMY'S PRIDE dueled on the inside through the opening quarter, saved ground around the turn, bumped with outside rivals entering the stretch and faded from there. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS MADE INTO THE TOP OF THE STRETCH. ADDITIONALLY, THE RIDER OF HORSE FOUR, SHANCES R, CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE TWO, KALATUA, CITING INTERFERENCE IN THE SAME INCIDENT. UPON REVIEW, HORSE TWO, KALATUA, WAS DISQUALFIED AND PLACED THIRD FOR INTERFERENCE.
