Footnotes
GUILTYOFHAVINGFUN led the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and held clear while drifting in the lane. SEPTEMBER MAGIC tracked the leader on the inside through the opening quarter, saved ground around the bend and gained ground late on the rail. BIRDIE BE GONE stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and chased on to the wire. CALL'EM ALL bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, settled in the middle of the pack on the rail for the run up the backstretch, came around the turn in the four path and finished evenly. ASK THE MONARCH raced in the middle of the pack on the inside early, saved ground around the bend and was outkicked in the stretch. VESPER CHICKS bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, raced off the pace on the rail up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path and made no bid. SMARTY BE GOOD trailed the field through the opening stages, saved ground around the turn and was never a factor. CLASSICAL ECHO hit the gate leaving it, raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the four path and was empty in the lane.
