Footnotes
FINSTER tracked the leading pair inside of and just behind THEALLIGATORHUNTER, continued to track behind the pacesetter into the turn, angled out approaching the quarter pole with aim on the leader, was pushed along into the stretch and driven approaching the furlong mark, rallied outside of STREET WARRIOR, caught him near the sixteenth and proved best. STREET WARRIOR was put on the lead, set the pace while saving ground, went to a drive in upper stretch, held the lead past the furlong mark but was headed by FINSTER approaching the sixteenth and proved second best. THEALLIGATORHUNTER tracked the pace while positioned outside of STREET WARRIOR forward and FINSTER behind, raced in the three to four path on the turn, began to lose ground past the five sixteenths, was driven into the lane, but came up empty. MORAL DILEMMA was fractious in the gate, reared and unseated his jockey, who got up quickly and remounted without unloading any horses from the gate, broke well but settled at the rear, continued at the rear in the two to three path on the far turn, was driven along the inside into the stretch, but offered no rally.
