SPIKE THE PUNCH saved ground around the first turn, led the way on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path and held clear in the lane. KY DO DECLARE raced in the two path early, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the far bend still in the two path and chased on to the finish. VAN GINKEL raced in the four path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, swung out to the five path coming around the far bend and improved position from there. NAVARRE raced in the four path around the first bend, chased the leader between horses up the backstretch, continued around the second turn in the three path and gave way in the stretch. HOW BOUT THAT CURT tracked the leader on the inside through the opening half mile, continued to save ground around the far turn and weakened in the lane. HEAVENLY DEACON raced in the two path early, tracked the leader between horses up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the four path and faded in the stretch. ABLE SEAMAN raced in the three path around the first bend, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, navigated the far turn still in the three path and was empty in the lane. ULTRA XTREME saved ground early, settled in the middle of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn and made no bid.
