Footnotes
MONGOLIAN CHAMP broke a step slow, recovered and edged up to be in range while four wide took closer order under coaxing past the three eighths, leveled off under left handed asking past the furlong grounds, surged to command in deep stretch and eagerly went clear. LACE UP prompted the pace three wide, bid under a ride near the five sixteenths, drew alongside the leader leaving the eighth pole, poked a head in front while between foes a sixteenth out, kept on willingly but was unable to withstand the winner's outer charge. MR FABRICATOR broke outward brushing a rival, correced and cleared early, set a rated pace in about the two path, handled outer pressure leaving the five sixteenths, clung to the lead under a drive past mid stretch, ceded to outer foes leaving the sixteenth marker and weakened very late. SOCAL RED , unhurried early and off the inside, gained five wide outside runners approaching the quarter pole but failed to sustain through the final three sixteenths. NORTH ARM BAY, brushed at the start, shift in heading to the first turn and tracked inside, was under pressure pursuing into the lane, failed to kick on and weakened.
