Footnotes
BIG HAMMER was hustled to the lead out of the gate, set the pace while prompted by PHANTOM EXPRESS, continued to set the pace in the two path while attended by that foe around the turn, went to a drive in upper stretch, drifted out slightly in the lane but always kept finding enough under urging to hold to the finish. PHANTOM EXPRESS was sent for early pace, pressed outside of BIG HAMMER down the backstretch and while positioned three wide around the bend, went to a drive approaching the furlong mark, chased on while being herded out by BIG HAMMER and could not reel that one in. MR IN PERSONAL broke a step slowly, raced at the rear early but advanced with a four-wide bid into the turn, gained touch to track the leader while still positioned four wide past the three eighths, was driven into the lane, gave chase to the finish but could not find enough to reel in the top pair. MISCHIEVOUS AL tracked the leading pair, saved ground around the bend while racing just behind the frontrunners, went to a drive in upper stretch, chased inside but lacked the necessary kick in the lane. SCOTTISH STORM settled near the rear, was pushed along in the four to five path on the turn wile well off the pace, was driven in upper and middle stretch and found no rally. ARJUN FOR KARZ chased keenly outside of MO BEACH TIME early, was pushed along in the three path on the turn and driven in upper stretch, and did not rally. MO BEACH TIME chased inside of ARJUN FOR KARZ early, was pushed along while saving ground on the turn, offered no response and was eased in the lane.
