RIVERSIDE chased well off the leaders early, took gradually closer order approaching the far turn, was nudged between horses near the three eighths, waited briefly behind foes nearing the quarter pole, swung four wide to bid into the lane, led near the three sixteenths, responded to take control when driven in upper stretch, drew off under urging, and was wrapped up in the final strides. R N R AUDIBLE settled near the rear early outside of RIVERSIDE, continued at the rear down the back straight, was driven for a bid on the far turn and kicked on approaching the five sixteenths, swung five wide into the lane, could not match RIVERSIDE from upper stretch, drifted in late and chased on best of the rest four wide. STEAM POWERED hopped at the start and came away slowly, raced at the rear early, edged closer approaching the second turn sine of RIVERSIDE, saved ground on the far turn, went to a drive into the lane when angled out, chased on despite being herded by R N R AUDIBLE, and captured the show late. OUTOFTHEDARK raced between horses in the leading flight around the first turn, settled behind the other two leaders approaching the three quarter pole, tracked the pace down the backstretch, was asked near the three eighths and rebid three wide, loomed with a quarter mile to go, proved no match for RIVERSIDE in upper stretch, chased on while driven between horses but could not hold the show. SIR EXTON vied three wide in the leading flight, took a narrow lead past the seven sixteenths, continued on a narrow lead two wide on the far turn, was engaged by OUTOFTHEDARK to his outside near the quarter pole, briefly clung to a narrow lead but was headed at the top of the stretch and flattened out inside foes in the lane. CLASSIFY battled at the inside of the leading flight, ceded the lead to SIR EXTON near the seven sixteenths, continued saving ground in range of the front to the top of the lane, and had no more when driven in the lane.
