Footnotes
VICTORIOUS VANDA tracked the leading pair early, raced between horses on the first turn when joined by CREW DRAGON to the inside and SONIC SPEED to the outside, chased midpack down the back straight, raced two wide on the far turn, was nudged along near the quarter, swung five wide into the lane and went to a drive, responded well and reeled in the leader in the final strides. HOT LEGS ROMOLO was off well to the lead, raced a bit keenly into the first turn, continued on the pace down the back straight and while saving ground around the far turn, kicked away when asked in upper stretch, but began to shorten late and was caught in the final strides. CREW DRAGON chased inside of SONIC SPEED early while racing very keenly, pulled to join inside of SHUT UP MICHAEL into the backstretch, stalked the pacesetter into the far turn while positioned two wide, did not match the leader's kick into upper stretch, went to a drive from upper stretch, chased on with interest but was ultimately outfinished while racing between horses. MANSOURA settled near the rear while saving ground, shifted two wide into upper stretch, was driven between horses, and rallied. HAWKS CREEK settled at the rear, was urged three wide on the far turn, swung six wide into the lane for the drive, and offered a mild belated rally. SONIC SPEED chased outside of CREW DRAGON early, raced three wide around the first turn, chased midpack down the backstretch, chased two wide between horses while pushed along on the far turn, and ran on evenly between horses in the lane. SHUT UP MICHAEL (IRE) tracked the pace early, was joined inside by CREW DRAGON into the backstretch, settled back to track the leading pair near the nine sixteenths, was pushed along in the two path on the far turn and driven into the lane, and weakened.
