YOU AND R US broke alertly, showed good speed and assumed early command, set the pace to the turn then met the bid of ITS BILLY BAROO nearing the quarter marker, dug in to upper stretch and held that rival at bay into the final furlong, kept to task into the final sixteenth and proved best late. ITS BILLY BAROO crowded and pinched back at the start, rushed up into the turn then pressed YOU AND R US nearing the quarter marker, a bit green to upper stretch, chased the winner into the final furlong, could not get by YOU AND R US in the late stages and was a clear second best. HEY BABY MIKKO close up to the early pace, chased between rivals into the turn then was caught a bit in tight midway along the bend, ran in pursuit of the top pair into the lane, was no match for those two past mid-stretch but kept on late to secure the show honors. FORGED WITH FYRE prominent in the early going, chased from the rail heading into the turn, caught in tight and checked off of heels leaving the seven-sixteenths marker, swung out and chased three wide to the stretch, ran in pursuit into the final furlong and was outkicked for the show honors. BOLT OF LUCK bobbled and off slow to begin, raced widest to the turn then maintained a wide trip to the stretch, could not impact the leaders in the final sixteenth but improved position late. DILLY DALLY CHUCK broke out at the start, chased the early pace from the two path then from the rail heading into the turn, caught a bit in tight and steadied midway along the bend, lacked the needed response nearing the top of the lane then weakened. DIABLO'S D'ETAT allowed to settle early on, saved ground into the turn then trailed at the quarter marker, kept an inside path to the stretch and did not factor.
