JET SET REBEL broke out and crowded outer rival at the start, unhurried and trailed in the early going, saved ground into the far turn, made a steady advance along the inside into upper stretch, sustained that rally to the final sixteenth, took command in deep stretch and won going away. ASHRYVER broke alertly and took early command, was engaged by LIL ANTHONY then dueled inside of that foe into the far turn, shook free of that one then met the bid of GIFTED VALOR to upper stretch, gamely battled to the final sixteenth, was overhauled late by the winner and held for second. LIL ANTHONY prominent in the early going, chased the pace between rivals then went up to duel ASHRYVER for pace duties, turned away nearing the quarter marker, stayed on into the stretch while three then four wide and got up for third in the final strides. GIFTED VALOR was forwardly placed in the early going, stalked the pace three wide along the backstretch run, well placed to the far turn then vied for the lead nearing the quarter marker, dueled with ASHRYVER into the stretch, was stubborn to the final sixteenth, couldn't find more in deep stretch and was nailed for third on the wire. THIRTYNINE TIMBERS close up to the early pace while inside of runners, chased the leaders in the opening quarter mile, dropped back along the far turn and came up empty in the stretch drive. MIZ IMOGEE broke in and was off slowly, rank in the early stages, settled while never far back heading to the far turn, lost ground while floated out a bit along the bend, trailed nearing the top of the lane, was eased through the stretch and walked off.
