Footnotes
FALL MOON was unhurried early and trailed the field, made a quick move on the turn, closed willingly, got up near the sixteenth pole, drew off and won going away. CHAMAVILLE saved ground to the stretch, closed steadily and got up late for place while no threat to the winner. QUEEN ATLAS was sent to the front, set the pace, raced in hand to the turn, responded to pressure to maintain the advantage, faltered near the sixteenth pole and held for show. DEAL'EM AND WEEP bumped at the start, settled off the pace, rallied on the turn, bid willingly, hung late and lost position. ALCOHOL broke out and bumped at the start, was never far off the pace, angled in and bid inside on the turn, was within range and came up empty late. MERLIN'S SISTER veered out and broke slowly, lagged in an outside trip and lacked a bid in an even effort.
