Footnotes
WYLES was unhurried early and saved ground, shifted out and rallied around the turn, assumed command and drew off under mild urging. ROAD RULES broke out and bumped at the start, settled off the pace, rallied on the turn, bid inside, was no match late and finished second best. ATHLETIC LIKE saved ground, offered a mild bid inside and was along for show while no threat to the top two. THIRTYNINE TIMBERS raced outside in a steady effort and was not a threat. NOAH'S GOLD broke out, vied inside to the stretch, tired, dropped back and stopped near the eighth pole. TWENTYTHREEONBLACK was fractious loading, bumped at the start, vied to the second turn, tired, stopped and was not urged late. HUEY was fractious in the gate, was through early, stopped and was not urged late.
