PROMISES was settled back early and angled out eight wide coming into the upper then made a big late rally and closed up just in time. HEAVENLY DESTINY was placed mid-pack through most of the race and came four wide around the turn and seven wide into the upper and rallied down the lane and just held at the wire. IRISH TWIRL broke outwards and dueled for pace from the inside for most of the race with ONE MOR ROSE and weakened in the final sixteenth but held the show award. ERIKA MARIE chased the pace from the two to three path around the turn and came five wide into the upper and improved mildly in the stretch. ONE MOR ROSE broke sharply and dueled for control of pace from the two path for most of the race and weakened in the final furlong. FROSTED PEACH showed early speed from the inside but dropped back entering the turn and was empty in the stretch. LAURIES HONOUR was never a factor.
