Footnotes
CREW DRAGON chased at the rear of the main group early, began to rally near the half mile mark, shifted outside of WARP RIDE to continue his rally around the bend, inhaled MARTINI MAN near the quarter pole, ran clear in upper stretch and maintained a clear lead under a drive. DR. PERRY was unhurried early, began to take closer order approaching the quarter pole, rallied between horses with good interest in the lane and proved best of the rest. AWESOME FANTASY chased at the rear of the main pack between horses, swung out five wide into the lane, found his best past the eighth pole while still racing five wide, ran on with good interest but was narrowly outkicked for the place. SAINT CHARLES broke slowly, settled near the rear, took closer order around the turn, swung three wide into the lane and then continued shifting further outside looking for room behind a wall of horses, had a hole shut in front of him approaching the sixteenth, shifted further out, and kept on with good interest to improve position belatedly. STABILITY chased midfield, went to a drive approaching the quarter pole, came three wide into the lane to rally into contention for the place, raced four wide through midstretch, and flattened late. ANGEL'S MAGIC chased near the rear three wide early, chased outside foes around the bend, came four wide into the lane, was driven from upper stretch, kept on mildly near the center of the track and passed tired horses. MARTINI MAN was sent for pace, dueled outside of HIGH PROBABILITY past the half, led at the three eighths, was headed by CREW DRAGON near the half, chased inside into the lane, shifted two and then three wide down the lane and flattened out in the final furlong. WARP RIDE tracked the leading pair down the backstretch and into the turn, could not go with CREW DRAGON when he rallied past around the bend, came into the lane between horses, shifted inside for a brief rally in upper stretch but flattened in the final furlong. HIGH PROBABILITY was hustled for speed and led briefly, dueled inside of MARTINI MAN past the half, lost the lead for good near the three eighths, raced at the inside of the chasing flight in upper stretch and emptied out.
