ANN ALEE was keen to the lead early, vied inside of ANGELAS PARTY GIRL around the first turn and into the backstretch, took the lead past the half, continued to set the pace clear in the two path on the far turn, opened up further when driven in upper stretch, was kept to the task inside the sixteenth pole but allowed to cruise home late when the affair was decided. EXPRESSIVE LOVE was off sharp but relegated to track inside, continued in range inside down the back straight and in the two path on the far turn, proved no match for ANN ALEE into the lane but chased on a clear second best. ALCOHOL trailed early, raced outside of FLORIBUNDA at the rear down the back straight, saved ground near the rear around the far turn while taking closer order, raced behind traffic into the lane, shifted in for room in upper stretch, and ran on with interest under a drive for the show. DEAL'EM AND WEEP chased at the rear of the main group, was pushed along in the two path on the far turn, lacked the needed kick in the lane but chased on mildly to hold a minor award. ANGELAS PARTY GIRL vied inside ANN ALEE around the first turn and into the backstretch, ceded the lead near the half-mile mark, tracked in the four path around the far turn, was driven into the lane and came up empty. FLORIBUNDA raced in second last early well behind the main group, raced inside of DEAL'EM AND WEEP in the rear flight down the backstretch, trailed in the two to three path on the far turn, shifted out in upper stretch and offered no bid. HONEY HAULER advanced to a three-wide forward position approaching the first turn but settled back to track the leading pair two wide around that bend, chased outside foes down the back straight, was driven in the five path on the far turn and continued under a drive into the lane but came up empty.
