COBBLESTONE BRIDGE tracked the leading pair two wide on the first turn, inched forward to stalk outside the leading pair near the half, stalked three wide around the far turn, engaged them in earnest near the quarter pole, floated out into the lane in the six to seven path, nonetheless sustained his rally, led midstretch and cleared. SPUN NOT STIRRED dropped in behind the field into the first turn after everyone broke in a line, tracked the leading pair inside of COBBLESTONE BRIDGE into the first turn, tracked the leading flight down the backstretch, was joined to the inside by SLIP MAHONEY past the half-mile mark, raced two wide in the rear group around the far turn, was pushed along three wide behind the leading line into the lane, and offered a three wide rally to get up for place in the last jumps. THIRSTY VISION pressed the pace outside of OUTOFTHEDARK, engaged that foe near the seven sixteenths and dueled two wide, continued to battle between horses into the lane, could not rebuff the rally of COBBLESTONE BRIDGE into the final furlong, outfinished OUTOFTHEDARK but was caught in the final strides by SPUN NOT STIRRED to her outside for the place. OUTOFTHEDARK was fractious in the gate, shook to the lead into the first turn, set the pace while pressed by THIRSTY VISION, dueled inside of that foe from the seven sixteenths, was driven inside that foe into the lane and continued to battle, had no answer to COBBLESTONE BRIDGE's outside rally in the final furlong and was outfinished for the place. SLIP MAHONEY broke with the field but settled at the rear of a compact pack through the first turn, inched forward to join inside of SPUN NOT STIRRED down the back straight, saved ground inside of that foe around the far turn, was driven behind the leading line in the lane but first had a hole outside of OUTOFTHEDARK close, then had another hole between that foe and the inside rail close, and never got through to make a rally.
