Footnotes
LAKE OF FIRE stalked the leaders from the inside down the backside, rallied to threaten while saving ground on the turn, could not go with the runner-up turning for home and perseved up the inside to wear the pacesetter down in the final strides. CHIRAG set a pressured pace to midway on the turn, kicked away turning for home, drifted out through the lane and was caught in the final thirty yards. TWO STORMY OCEANS rated off the pace in the early going, made a steady advance commencing midway on the turn and finished willingly unable to catch the top pair while clearly the best of the rest. BOSS DOWN slow early to be the trailer and passed weaker rivals coming home without impact. DUNKIN' RUN pressed the pace while racing five wide to midway on the turn and faded. RANGER GUS raced wide the entire way, dropped to the rear of the field on the turn and was never a threat.
