ASHRYVER pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the three path, challenged in upper stretch and kicked clear. GIFTED VALOR led the way on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path and could not go with the winner in the final furlong but chased on to the wire from there. ATHLETIC LIKE tracked the leaders from the middle of the pack through the opening quarter, continued around the turn in the three path and was never a threat. HUEY raced off the pace up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and made no bid.
