Footnotes
STREET WARRIOR raced a bit keenly early, was put on the lead, took brief pressure inside from SIR STERLING, cleared past the half, set the pace in the two path on the turn, maintained a clear lead into the lane, responded when urged by hand in upper stretch, continued to draw off under a hand ride and was only shown the crop late. IT'S BOBS BUSINESS settled at the rear of a compact group early, was pushed along for a bid between horses in the three path near the three eighths, advanced to a stalking spot but could not reel in the pacesetter, swung into the lane in the five to six path, and chased on under a drive to prove a clear second best. DISTORTED PRO tracked the leading pair early, chased three deep in the four path on the turn, was hard urged near the three eighths, lacked the needed rally but passed a tiring foe late for the show. SIR STERLING attended inside of STREET WARRIOR to the half mile mark, could not match that foe into the turn, saved ground in the tracking flight around the bend, vied inside of IT'S BOBS BUSINESS for second position in upper stretch, but weakened in the final furlong.
