HOW BOUT THAT CURT stalked the pace from the inside down the backside, was held up briefly approaching the three-eighths pole, waited patiently through the turn along the fence, surged through an opening up the rail when it was presented turning for home and drew away convincingly. SHANCES R broke alertly to take command from the gate, set a pressured pace from two wide through the turn, drifted out to the three path turning for home, was no match for the winner and finished willingly as second best in a good effort. PERFECT GAMBLE pressed the pace to midway on the turn, rallied to loom at the quarter pole from four wide, could not keep pace in the lane and ran-on as best of the rest. NAVARRE tracked the leaders down the backside, steadied off heels nearing the three-eighths pole to drop back losing momemtum, quickly recovered and kept-on unable to have an impact from there. THAT TYPE OFA DEAL hopped, hesitated at the start to give the filed a half dozen lengths at the start, raced up to contendtion into the turn and flattened out unable to overcome the poor start. CROSSTOWN HIGHWAY raced in early contention to the turn and faded coming home.
