WEST ISLAND vied with PARENTO'S PRINCIPLE for the lead from along the outside, shook that one off leaving the eighth pole and quickly drew clear. PARETO'S PRINCIPLE vied with WEST ISLAND for the lead from along the inside, was unable to stay with that one late but proved to be second best. WYNN TRIP saved ground while being allowed to settle, came five-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. JACHA saved ground while being unhurried, slipped through during the drive and rallied late. SAM SEZ was forwardly placed to near the stretch racing four-wide and weakened. FURTHER EVIDENCE settled in the back on the field early, came three-wide into the stretch but failed to seriously threaten. FORSAKEN was prominently placed early racing three-wide, angled in on the turn and tired.
