ANN ALEE broke sharply, tracked comfortably in range of the pacesetter, responded two wide when nudged along near the five sixteenths, took the lead approaching the quarter pole, was driven in upper stretch, extended her lead, and was geared down late. MENDELSSOHNS COMET chased inside, inched forward past the half to join MITOLE PRINCESS in the second flight, chased the leading pair while saving ground on the turn, chased between horses in upper stretch, got up into second position near the furlong pole and kept on second best. TOUR QUEEN settled at the rear, took slightly closer order down the backstretch, raced in the three path on the far turn, shifted seven wide into the lane and improved belatedly for show. JOCASTA settled near the rear, took closer order on the backstretch, was pushed along inside foes on the far turn, shifted four wide into the lane, kept on mildly between horses but was ultimately outkicked for the show. SAHARA KARA chased two wide through the first turn, continued to chase between horses on the backstretch, raced between horses toward the rear into the far turn, swung six wide into the lane and lacked the needed kick in the lane. MITOLE PRINCESS appeared washy, chased behind the leading pair, was joined from the inside by MENDELSSOHNS COMET past the half, was urged two wide on the far turn but began to flatten, came five wide into the lane and proved empty. MARTYNAS' JOY was keen to the lead, continued to set the pace into the far turn, was headed by ANN ALEE to her outside approaching the quarter pole, chased inside in second position through upper stretch, but lost second near the furlong pole and retreated inside. ARIJANA'S PEARL chased three wide, was relegated near the rear on the far turn while still three wide, floated six wide into the lane, drifted out a few more paths in upper stretch and had no rally.
