Footnotes
HEAVENLY TACTIC settled near the rear two wide, took gradually closer order between horses down the backstretch, was pushed along two wide past the seven sixteenths, rallied inside foes around the far turn, dropped inside of MAYWOOD HONOR into upper stretch and drove to the lead inside of that foe, and kept finding under a drive. BLUES CROSS chased outside of ANNALINE well behind the leading pair early, settled back closer to midfield around the first turn, was pushed along past the seven sixteenths to improve, improved position around the turn, sustained the rally three wide into the lane, chased on with interest down the lane but could not reel in HEAVENLY TACTIC. MINNESOTA ROSE chased inside early, was caught behind traffic into the far turn as the chasing horses took closer order, shifted out into upper stretch, putting CHARGING DARLING into a tight spot between her and and MIDNIGHT JOY, drifted out under a drive but nonetheless rallied belatedly for the show. MAYWOOD HONOR set the pace, was engaged from both sides in upper stretch and headed by HEAVENLY TACTIC past the three sixteenths, and weakened in the final furlong. MIDNIGHT JOY settled near the rear, shifted out for room into the far turn, rallied three to four wide around the second bend, was herded out into upper stretch and chased on mildly. ANNALINE chased well behind the leading pair, lost third position near the seven sixteenths, was driven inside into the lane but could not match the front ranks from there and weakened inside. CHARGING DARLING chased midfield, continued between horses on the far turn as the chasing group took closer order, bobbled when herded out into a tight spot when MINNESOTA ROSE came out into upper stretch and lacked the needed kick from there. BEAUTIFUL JUDGE settled inside early, raced at the rear down the backstretch, raced in the three to four path at the rear around the far turn and ultimately proved no factor. DANCING BOOTS was keen early, stalked the pace set by MAYWOOD HONOR while racing well clear of the rest, continued to stalk the pace through the far turn, was swallowed up turning for home and weakened. ALLTAIL settled near the rear, floated out to the four to five path around the first turn, took gradually closer order three deep down the back straight, raced four to five wide on the far turn and could not muster a rally.
