Footnotes
LUNAR SEAS quick to take the early lead before going into the first turn, held a firm lead up the backstretch, pressured by rival in the far turn, kicked clear in the stretch. NOT A WORD raced in the middle of the pack on the inside, advanced through the far turn to enter the stretch behind the pace, made a three wide bid to rally for the place award. BLUES CROSS unhurried at the start to be the early trailer, held position for most, angled towards the outside of the stretch to be up for show. MIGHTY MADI was never too far behind the pace, moved up in the far turn to stalk the pace but weakened in the final furlong. ISLAND JIVE settled off the pace, steadily advanced up the backstretch four wide, weakened in the stretch. MARK OF VICTORY raced off the pace, advanced through the far turn to enter the stretch in a competitive inside position, quickly faded in the final furlong. MOLLYS MIA raced off the pace three wide, made no impact.
