GENE AND JUDE stalked from the two path, bid outside of the leader turning for home, gained an advantage entering the lane then gradually drove clear. GARRYOWEN stalked along the inside, then from the two path around the far turn, bid for place between horses entering the lane, dueled for that position along the inside through the final furlong and narrowly prevailed. HYPERBOLIZE stalked two to three wide, bid for place entering the lane, battled for that position with an inner foe through midstretch, then between rivals in the final sixteenth but missed. FOOTPRINT tracked from the two to three path, swung five wide into the lane, offered an even kick to vie for place late but missed show between rivals at the wire. RULOOKINFORRAYRAY settled along the inside, progressed in the three to four path and between horses in midstretch, tipped to the five path and rallied belatedly to miss fourth. HAYES GOAL pursued from midpack along the inside and lacked a bid. KHETAM pursued from midpack two to three wide, shifted five wide into upper stretch and failed to menace. GOOD POINT got subtly keen early on, steadied entering the first turn, trailed in the two path then failed to factor. AGUILA NEGRA set a clear pace, but got caught by an outer bidder entering the lane and weakened. OBELISK settled off of the pace three to two wide, then along the inside around the far turn and made little impact. JACK RABBIT stuttered a step at the start, checked between rivals while well back around the first turn, pursued three wide, fanned to the six path into upper stretch and made little impact. BAGG O TIME lacked speed near the inside then got outrun.
