Footnotes
EMPIRE BUILDER set a clear pace in the two path then widened under a drive. TRES SOLES tracked from the four path, forged place in upper stretch then held from an outer challenger late. RAISING KANE lacked speed in the two path, shifted to the five path entering the lane, fanned wider in upper stretch then rallied belatedly to miss place. NATIONAL ECLIPSE broke outwardly, stalked closest to the clear leader and from the three path, proved no match turning for home, lugged inwardly whlie yielding place at the three sixteenths pole then weakened on his left lead. QUOKKA raced off of the pace near the inside then failed to menace. CHARBON pursued from midpack in the five path then faded around the turn. NIP N TUCK lagged behind in the three path and never got involved.
