CHASING THE CROWN pursued from midpack in the two to three path around the first turn, inched closer in the three to four path turning for home, fanned five wide into the lane, rallied to bid three across at the sixteenth pole, led briefly while dueling late but missed the bob at the wire. QUATROCENTO vied two wide, led down the backstretch, drew clear approaching the far turn, maintained a margin through midstretch, but got collared by an outer pair of bidders at the sixteenth pole, dug in and battled late but got bested. MINARET STATION laid off of the pace along the inside, trailed rounding the far turn, moved out to the four path entering the lane, progressed in the five path and between horses in midstretch then rallied belatedly but ran out of ground to reach the leaders. WEST HOLLYWOOD settled well back in the three path, fanned five wide entering the lane, floated a touch wider in midstretch then ran on willingly. BALNIKHOV (IRE) trailed along the inside, took closer order with seven sixteenths to go, continued to save ground around the far turn but failed to factor. GIOCOSO stalked three wide, chased two wide around the far turn, leaned back to the three pat entering the lane and faded. MI BAGO rushed forward to set the pace while moving to the inside into the first turn, got headed by an outer presser entering the backstretch, sustained pressure shortly after, but chased into and around the far turn then weakened.
