VICTOR VALLEY vied two wide and between horses, sparred in the three path into the lane, shifted inwardly in midstretch, flopped leads as the duel continued through the final furlong and prevailed. FREGATA set the pace while vying inside of the eventual winner, battled gamely with that one through the final furlong but missed at the wire. TOAST THE STAR stalked along the inside, aimed to split the leaders in upper stretch, but steadied when the hole closed at hote furlong grounds, tipped out and ran on willingly. BEAU CUP laid off of the pace along the inside, then stayed on in the two path to prevail for fourth. CEARNACH settled in the three path, shifted out to the six path in midstretch and moved up to miss fourth. CHEDDAR tracked two wide and between horses, fanned five wide entering the lane but lacked a bid. ANNA OF AUSTRIA hopped slightly at the start, chased in the four path, bore out into and around the turn, trailed in the lane and made little impact. FANCY LADY pressed three wide, yielded in the four path in upper stretch then faded between horses.THE RIDER OF TOAST THE STAR CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST VICTOR VALLEY ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN MIDSTRETCH, BUT THE OBJECTION WAS DISALLOWED BY THE STEWARDS.
