WEST END KID progressed four to three wide around the first turn, tracked before ranging up to bid three deep turning for home, forged an advantage in upper stretch then drove clear in the final furlong. ZEUS'S ECHO set the pace along the inside, got headed by an outer challenger in upper stretch, yielded through the final furlong yet lasted for place. TIME FOR AMERICA trailed along the inside, then two wide and between horses around the far turn, pursued in the four path into the lane, rallied while shifting inwardly in midstretch then gained show at the wire. EXONERATE brushed with an outer foe leaving the gate, pursued from midpack along the inside, then in the two path down the backstretch, advanced in the three path and between horses into the lane, stayed on to hold show through midstretch but got caught by an inner foe at the wire. MENDELS MATE brushed with an inner foe at the start, then again early on, tracked three to two wide while getting subtly keen between horses around the first turn, shifted out to the five path entering the lane then ran on evenly. FANCY SAILOR was brushed between horses early on, settled along the inside, but was bumped and crowded between horses in upper stretch then failed to menace. ZAKINTHOS raced off of the pace in the three path, fanned out to the six path into the lane and failed to factor. CLASSIC TAP brushed with an outer rival at the start, brushed again while in tight between horses early on, raced well back in the three path, fanned seven wide in upper stretch and made little impact. VINTUR brushed with rivals on both sides at the start, stalked two wide, bid along with an outer foe turning for home, but weakened entering the lane, then faltered between horses while bumping with an inner foe in upper stretch. CASA CIELO tracked along the inside, but was bumped and bothered by outer rivals in upper stretch then was eased through the final furlong.
