SKYNET bobbled subtly leaving the gate, set the pace while remaining in the three path as an outer pair pressed into the turn, met an inner challenge turning for home, maintained a margin and repelled that rival in the final furlong, got collared by a bidder on either side in the closing stages, exchanged a brush with his outer challenger late and held. LANDING CRAFT pressed the top pair from the five path, failed to sustain pressure in upper stretch, yet kept on to re-rally into the final sixteenth, ranged up to bid while leaning in late, exchanged a brush nearing the wire and missed. ARMY WILDCATTER bumped with an inner foe at the start, tracked two wide, ran on and sustained gradual progress to bid inside of the leader in the late stages but was denied. MUIR WOODS bumped with an outer foe at the start, stalked along the inside, bid inside of the leader turning for home but got repelled in the final furlong and yielded late. NASH POTATOES raced off of the pace along the inside and failed to factor. DISPERSION prompted outside of the eventual winner and from the four path while between horses into the turn, but gave way leaving the five sixteenths pole. POP PAUL broke a step slow, trailed in the three path and made little impact.
