SOLEIL VOLANT stalked along the inside, slipped through to bid inside of the leading pair leaving upper stretch then drove clear. NOBLE CONFESSOR pressed two wide, vied rounding the final turn, dueled after floating three wide in upper stretch, but got outkicked by an inner bidder in the final furlong. END OF ROMANCE (IRE) settled at the rear near the inside, pursued in the three path in upper stretch, altered five wide and among foes in midstretch then rallied to edge show late. DAUNT pursued from midpack along the inside, then two wide and between horses approaching the far turn, chased in the three path in upper stretch, stayed on among foes to bid for show entering the final sixteenth but got outfinished. WESTSIDE TIDE pursued from midpack two wide, moved out rounding the far turn, floated five wide entering the lane, ran on evenly to bid for show at the sixteenth pole but got outkicked by an inner pair. CLYDE'S GOT A GUN rated near the rear along the inside, shifted to the four path entering the lane, floated six wide and between horses into the final furlong then moved up. ROYAL MAJESTY (GB) settled along the inside, shifted to the five path entering the lane, chased seven wide in the final furlong and lacked a bid between horses. PRESIDER set the pace along the inside, vied with an outer rival around the far turn, dueled after moving to the two path in upper stretch, but yielded between the eventual top pair at the furlong grounds, had a hind heel clipped leaving the marker and faded. TAPIT SHOES settled off of the pace three wide, floated six wide into the lane, eight wide in midstretch and failed to factor. GOLDENEYE stalked three wide, pressed the top pair around the far turn, but floated four wide entering the lane then weakened between horses. THE HIDDEN CHAMBER pursued two wide and between horses, then along the inside turning for home, encountered traffic in upper stretch then clipped a rival's hind heel and dislodged his rider passing the furlong grounds. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY RESULTED IN NO CHANGE TO THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
