Footnotes
BETTE DAVIS brushed with an outer rival and steadied back from between horses leaving the chute, stalked along the inside, pursued comfortably while bottled up into the turn, moved between horses turning for home, tipped three wide to take aim outside of the top pair at the three sixteenths pole, ranged up to bid leaving the furlong grounds, flopped back to her left lead while forging an advantage as an outer bidder threatened into the final sixteenth, then held well. EAST SHORE laid off of the pace along the inside, progressed spinning into the lane in the three path, moved out five wide in upper stretch, rallied to bid outside of the new leader leaving the sixteenth pole but was fended off late. STORY HOUR vied two wide, led as an outer foe bid turning for home, dueled gamely with that rival through midstretch, but was outkicked by an outer pair passing the sixteenth pole and prevailed for show. TIFFANY TWIST stalked four deep, prompted three wide into and around the turn, bid turning for home, dueled with an inner foe into midstretch, got outkicked by an outer pair in the final sixteenth and missed show. LIUZZA brushed with an inner rival leaving the chute, tracked forwardly two wide and between horses, shifted out to range up four deep turning for home, issued a mild bid entering the lane, but flattened out leaving upper stretch and yielded between horses. KLIMT'S MUSE hopped at the start, trailed in the two path, entered the lane in the three path and moved up. PENS STREET raced off of the pace while coaxed along in the three to four path into the turn, fanned out to the five path into the lane and lacked a bid. PHAROAH'S HEART was fractious in the starting gate, then bobbled at the start, vied along the inside, yielded to an outer pair at the five sixteenths pole and weakened. CORA'S LEGACY raced forwardly three wide and between horses, then weakened in the four path around the turn.
