Footnotes
BURNHAM SQUARE settled off of the pace in the two to three path, inched closer around the final turn, took aim outside of the top pair entering the lane, ranged up to bid at the three sixteenths pole then kicked away handily. DANCIN IN DA'NILE tracked two wide, pursued further off of the pace around the far turn, then between horses turning for home, moved out to the four path in upper stretch then ran on to edge place late. ECHO LANE stalked from the two path early on, moved to press the leader around the second turn, sustained pressure before vying into the lane, but got outkicked by an outer bidder at the three sixteenths pole, proved no match for that one then lost place late. VOTE NO trailed in the two path, then three wide around the far turn, fanned to the five path entering the lane then failed to menace. FREEDOM'S WAY set the pace along the inside, felt outer pressure into the backstretch, vied with that one entering the lane, got headed by him and a wider challenger at the three sixteenths pole and faded. ANEGADA tracked along the inside then gave way around the final turn. RACE WAS HAND-TIMED.
