Footnotes
GOULD'S GOLD stalked along the inside, then from the two path around the far turn, tipped out leaving the three sixteenths pole to take aim from the five path entering midstretch, sustained progress to range up shortly after and edged past. WILLY D'S pressed the leader from the three path, bid and forged an advantage in the two path at the three furlong pole, inched clear in midstretch as an outer foe loomed a danger, dug in to resist that one's challenge shortly after but got bested. PARCHMENT PARTY was slow into stride, lagged behind early on, progressed three wide into the lane and rallied willingly. MENA set the pace along the inside under consistent urging, got headed by an outer presser at the three furlong pole, fought on until midstretch, but faded through the final furlong yet lasted fourth. BULLARD bumped with an inner foe at the start, tracked two wide and between horses, subtly steadied while among foes around the first turn, chased while within range outside of the top pair around the far turn, but got outkicked by an inner foe in upper stretch and faded. BADDEST GOOD BOY bumped with an outer foe leaving the gate, laid off of the pace two wide and failed to factor. SINGLE DOT YAHT saved ground off of the pace but to no avail. NATIONAL ECLIPSE pursued from midpack in the four path and faded around the far turn.
