HUTCHINSON set the pace while feeling mild pressure from an outer rival, disposed of that one before being headed by a wider challenger entering the lane, battled back and reclaimed an advantage at the furlong grounds then drove clear. AL AMJAAD trailed along the inside, quickly progressed in the three path around the far turn, bid and forged an advantage outside of the leader entering the lane, but failed to kick away, ceded the front back to the early leader at the furlong grounds and weakened. WHATEVER tracked along the inside then failed to threaten. MUSIC THEORY broke outwardly and was off slow, pressed outside of the eventual winner, failed to sustain pressure into the far turn, got outmoved by an outer rival at the five sixteenths pole then faded.
