Footnotes
PLAZA CUE set the pace along the inside, met an outer challenge passing the three furlong pole, dueled with that one into the lane, traded brushes while battling in the final furlong and gamely held. SISTER JEAN stalked along the inside, bid outside of the leader at the three furlong pole, dueled gamely while exchanging light contact in the final furlong but was denied. LUNAR LOOP tracked from the three path and between rivals early on, chased in the four path around the turn then proved no match for the top pair yet was best of the rest. GOT WHAT I GOT trailed in the four to three path, shifted out to the five path entering the lane and moved up. GRANT'S GRETCHEN pressed the top pair from the four path leaving the chute, but yielded position with five furlongs to go then steadily faded in the five path around the turn. COMMAND THE STARS broke a bit outwardly, prompted the leader from the three path, but gave way reaching the three furlong pole then faded.
