Footnotes
ALDER tracked inside, was coaxed between foes in the two path midway around the turn, angled out to the six path at the top of the lane, rallied outside of rivals, and drew ahead of a dueling inner pair in the closing stages. NASTY HABIT brushed with an outer foe leaving the gate, prompted the pace between rivals in the three path, continued to challenge while under a nudge in the two path rounding the turn, dueled with an inner rival from the four path down the stretch, got overtaken by the late charging winner in the final sixteenth, but got the place bob. GARDINER was sent to duel between foes in the two path, came under pressure along the inside midway around the turn, fought on stubbornly with the outer runner up from the three path down the lane, but lost the place bob. SAINT IN THE CITY vied for the lead inside, checked from the rail passing the three-eighths pole, but finished evenly in the stretch. CHISELER chased in the three path, was ridden around the turn, fanned out to the seven path turning into the stretch, but made no closing bid. MISTER MMMMM brushed with an inner foe at the start, pressed the pace in the four path, bid in the three path around the turn, but faded from the five path in the stretch.
