Footnotes
RATIONAL THEORY vied two wide, led in the three path into the lane, drove clear then lasted safely. TRANSATLANTIC got floated out by an inner foe at the start, raced off of the pace in the four path, inched closer around the turn, ran on to pursue the clear leader through the final furlong then saved place from an outer bidder at the wire. OUR SHENANIGAN raced off of the three path and between horses, faded into the turn, yet regained stride while swinging five wide entering upper stretch and rallied to miss place. BOURBON SERENGETI broke outwardly, trailed in the four path, fanned six wide into the lane then moved up late. DARING HOPE settled along the inside, stayed on two to three wide and between horses in the final furlong but got outkicked for fourth. MADELINE'S PROMISE pursued from midpack in the four path, chased three to two wide and between horses around the turn, moved four wide into the lane, stayed on to vie for fourth between horses late but got outkicked. SPUN CANDY broke through the starting gate pre-race, raced close up three wide, chased between horses into the lane, hung on his left lead until the final furlong then faded. GOOD CALL vied for the lead inside of the eventual winner, proved no match entering the lane and weakened. SHANETT broke through the starting gate pre-race, tracked along the inside, chased turning for home then weakened.
