Footnotes
AMERICAN MAN vied three to two wide, forged an advantage reaching the lane as an outer bidder joined the fray, repelled that challenge in midstretch then inched clear in the final furlong. MUNNINGS CHALLENGE led narrowly along the inside, vied with the eventual winner into and around the turn, got headed by that one and a wider challenger entering the lane, yet kept on well to reclaim place leaving the furlong grounds then proved second best. DOUBLECENTS stalked three wide, ranged up to bid entering the lane, but was repelled in midstretch, yielded yet lasted for show. HAMMOND laid off of the pace in the two path, swung out to the five path entering the lane then stayed on to miss show. ROCKIES BALBOA raced close up two wide and between horses briefly, chased along the inside into the turn then lacked a bid. VAPORIZER broke a step slow, trailed along the inside then got outrun.
