IL CAVALLINO settled in pursuit in the four path, inched closer while tracking around the turn, launched a bold challenge after tipping to the five path entering the lane then kicked away in upper stretch before flopping back to his left lead in the final furlong. BAGG O TIME lagged behind down the backstretch, rejoined the group while swinging from the two path to the seven path entering the lane then rallied to prove second best. ROMANTIC LEAD broke a step slow, recovered to vie three deep while kept in the four path into the turn, moved down to the three path briefly before getting outkicked by an outer bidder after leaning back to the four path entering the lane, lost place at the furlong grounds yet battled for show with an inner counterpart thereafter and prevailed. HARDTOBLAME took light contact from an outer foe leaving the gate, vied for the lead with an outer pair, spun into the lane in the two path, proved no match for an outer challenger shortly after, sparred for show through the final furlong but was bested. FAST JOKER broke a bit in and brushed a foe at the start, tracked near the inside, chased along the rail in upper stretch and lacked a bid before switching outside of foes in the final sixteenth. STEFAN'S TITLE broke a step slow then took back from between horses early on, raced off of the pace in the two to three path, shifted out to the five to six path in upper stretch and failed to factor. WHISKEY SHOT vied in the three to two path and between horses then weakened in the three path entering tte lane.
