MCCANN set the pace along the inside, inched clear briefly in upper stretch, got collared by an outer bidder nearing midstretch, battled gamely while hanging on his left lead, got headed coming to the final sixteenth yet fought back late to prevail. CAMPOBASSO stalked three wide, ranged up to bid outside of the leader leaving upper stretch, dueled into the final furlong, led narrowly into the final sixteenth but got outfinished by his inner counterpart late. GADGET PLAY was bumped by an inner foe at the start, raced off of the pace near the three path, swung out to the six path in upper stretch and rallied to belatedly gain on the top pair late. CIVIC CHARM bobbled and steadied back at the start, lacked speed in the three path, fanned out six to seven wide in upper stretch and rallied for a share. INTERROGATOR tracked from midpack in the three to four path, chased in the five path in upper stretch but lacked a bid. HAWKEYE STATE chased two wide and between horses, moved to the four path in upper stretch but lacked a bid while hanging on his left lead. STUDY prompted two wide and outside of the eventual winner, but yielded between the top pair in upper stretch then weakened among foes. DELANCEY STREET broke outwardly and bumped a foe at the start, lacked speed in the two path, shifted to the five path entering the lane and failed to menace between horses. IMPRACTICAL tracked along the inside, chased in upper stretch then faded. BIGTIMETIMMYJIM shied slightly from an inner foe at the start, raced off of the pace along the inside and failed to factor. MAX IS HIM hesitated while leaning on the inner stall doors at the start, veered inwardly whlie leaving the gate many lengths behind the rest, then lagged behind throughout.
