Footnotes
RAIDING PARTY (IRE) pursued from midpack hung five to four wide into the backstretch, inched closer in the four path turning for home, fanned out to the five path entering the lane, then sustained her rally to reel in the leader at the furlong grounds and drove clear. STAR ACTRESS pursued from midpack in the two path before settling along the inside into the backstretch, continued to save ground turning for home, launched a rail rally to duel for place with an outer pair in the final sixteenth and prevailed. CALL THE BULLPEN transferred firm contact from an inner foe to an outer rival at the start, got keen passing the wire for the first time, raced forwardly while in the bit along the inside, tipped to the two path to take aim outside of the clearing leader entering upper stretch, but got floated out to the four path by that one while getting outkicked by an outer foe reaching midstretch, kept on to battle for place once more in the closing stages but missed at the wire. BACKGAMMON bumped an outer foe at the start, set the pace along the inside, shook free in upper stretch, drifted out coming to midstretch, got headed by an outer bidder while entering the final furlong, proved no match for that one shortly after, dug in for place between bidders in the final sixteenth but missed. HONFLEUR pursued from midpack four to two wide and between horses, shifted out to the four to five path while pursuing in upper stretch then ran on with a mild kick. CALLMEYOURMAJESTY settled off of the pace in the three to two path, took the far turn in the three path and failed to menace. DAGMARA was bumped by an inner foe at the start, raced at the rear two wide, swung out to the six path at the three sixteenths pole but lacked a rally. STEPPING STONES tracked four to three wide into the backstretch, pressed the top pair around the far turn, but leaned back to the four path into upper stretch and faded between horses. CONNECT THE STARS saved ground at the rear but to no avail. HOT MASH was jostled by an inner foe into an outer rival at the start, pressed three to two wide and between horses into the backstretch, then weakened in the three path entering upper stretch and caved.
