Footnotes
TOUCHY crept closer down the backstretch to track from the three to two path into the turn, loomed a danger while pursuing within striking range turning for home, split foes to bid inside of the leader in upper stretch, exchanged brushes while battling neck-and-neck through the final furlong and pervailed. ROTHKO vied for the lead with an inner foe while kept in the three path, forged an advantage while between horses turning for home, got collared by an inner foe in upper stretch, dug in and battled gamely while trading brushes through the final furlong then missed at the wire. BULLARD stalked outside of the top pair and from the four path, pressed around the turn, attempted a bid nearing the lane, but got outkicked by an inner foe while being repelled entering upper stretch then kept on to prove best of the rest. BADDEST GOOD BOY raced off of the pace near the two path, trailed passing the three furlong pole, shifted out to the five path in upper stretch and moved up. INEXORABLE raced off of the pace along the inside, improved in the three path around the turn, chased into the lane and lacked a bid. JOHN HANCOCK vied for the lead with an outer foe, then inside of an outer pair around the turn before weakening entering the lane.
